Cliff Rotenberg

Cliff has worked for over 25 years with and for companies in a variety of intensive commercial development environments to drive measurable value creation and accelerated growth.  He has served in a variety of C-suite roles including President of a Fintech company that developed five patents for a payment methodology and grew its footprint by 400%, COO of an outdoor media company that had a successful exit, CSO of a health care education company that improved profitability by 300%, and Managing Director of a Strategic Advisory professional services firm.

He has also built and led large multinational corporate organizations as SVP Content Development Group Operations and Strategy at  Houghton Mifflin Harcourt where he increased operational effectiveness by 12% year-over-year and beat operating budget by 34% and Reed Elsevier as VP of NHP Education Strategy and Business Development where he transformed an underperforming testing and assessment business, resulting in a one-year turnaround of annual year-over-year revenue growth rate from -2% to +9%

Cliff has global expertise working with Fortune 500 companies as well as start-ups and private equity funded ventures to address complex operational challenges and optimization opportunities with straightforward strategies and easily communicated solutions  that can be quickly implemented. He has a keen ability and insight to identify and implement strategic change needed to take advantage of market opportunities and adapt to evolving market dynamics, customer demands, and public policy changes.  Cliff has a strong track record of identifying, vetting, and successfully launching commercial development and business ventures.
