In this special free online event, Katahdin Group CEO and Strategic Faciliator, Gordie Spater, will demo the case process with a real case from Katahdin Group’s David Cohen, a former CEO who recently successfully exited his company after presenting a case to his CEO Collective peers.

Flinn

John Flinn is an accomplished executive dedicated to leading teams toward excellence and driving sustainable growth. With extensive experience as a customer-focused General Manager and now as President, John has a proven track record in revenue and margin growth, P&L management, product development, and personnel planning. His expertise encompasses strategic planning, team building, new product introduction (NPI), project management, process improvement, and ISO manufacturing. A strong engineering and operations professional, John holds a BS and MSME from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Anderson

Paul joined Rypos as president and general manager in early 2021 before being appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2022. He handles the day-to-day leadership of the business, guiding the management team and company through the next phase of corporate growth. With more than 25 years in strategic sales, marketing, and general management in the United States, Canada, China and Europe, Paul brings significant global experience to the team.

Stirling

Thomas Stirling, the CEO of Stirling Brandworks, leads a full-service agency specializing in integrated marketing, branding, and technology. A University of Vermont alumnus and Computer Science major, Thomas is passionate about tech, especially AI innovations. When not working, he enjoys outdoor activities like boating and skiing. Happily married with a baby on the way, Thomas is also a proud owner of two dogs and an amateur hot sauce crafter.

Spater

Gordie Spater is the CEO of Katahdin Group and a seasoned facilitator of CEO Collective peer groups and the Strategic Ascent strategic planning program. Previously, he co-founded and led Kurgo, a leading dog travel product company in North America, which was recognized as an 8-time Honoree of the Inc. 5000 list. While at Kurgo, Gordie was a long-time member of Katahdin's CEO Collective, during which he celebrated a successful exit of Kurgo after 16 consecutive years of revenue growth.

DiSandro

Jeff is a partner with HFA focusing on Board, CEO and SVP/VP-level searches for transformative technology companies; both established and emerging start-ups backed by top tier Venture Capital and Private Equity firms. His areas of expertise include SaaS (application, infrastructure, and network), media and commerce (B2B, B2C, mobile and advertising), telecommunications, and components (optical and semiconductor.) Prior to HFA, Jeff was a partner with Kiradjieff & Goode (K&G), a boutique executive search firm in Boston, where he led senior-level searches for high technology, healthcare, and financial services.

Cohen

David Cohen is a seasoned CEO with a wealth of experience in strategy, leadership, and management. He spent most of his career (34 years) leading a commercial equipment finance company and was instrumental in securing debt and capital financing which fueled the growth of the business, which he successfully sold in 2015. In his tenure as CEO, he developed a highly functioning management team, strategy, process improvement and integration of technology to improve efficiency and customer experience. In 2017, he received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Amusement Machine Association.
